How Waterjet Work...
At Thunderbird Water
jet, we use a mixture of high pressure water with garnet abrasive to cut
virtually any material you could imagine. We can cut within +-.005”
with 0 degree taper.

Because water jets cut
without heat, there is no heat affected zones which occur with
plasma or laser cutting, reducing the need for costly 2nd
operations to remove hardened edges.
The C.A.D. software
allows easy importation of your existing files, and due to very short set-up
time, we can cut prototypes at very competitive pricing. With numerous
different cut qualities available, we can cut rapid production as well as
precision finish. Because we are able to tightly nest files there is very
little wasted material. With the increasing cost of raw material, this can
save you money.
